Volunteer Description: The shifts on Saturday are a little later as the rodeo will begin following the Helldorado Parade. We anticipate the ticket seller positions will be sitting and the ticket taker positions will be standing the majority of the time. Gate duty will likely involve sitting/standing at an emergency exit gate to ensure people are not entering improperly and in case of emergency evacuation. There are six gates that need to be manned at all times. Security will involve walking around the area and radioing the authorities in the event there is any trouble. Ushers will assist with rodeo seating and the livestock/crowd positions will keep the public away from the livestock area. The Beer Tent station will consist of checking ID’s at the entrance to ensure no minors enter. The first 15 minutes of every shift will be a briefing of the duties and responsibilities and an overview of the activities for that day. The total number of volunteers needed is in parenthesis after each responsibility. Please place a checkmark in the box next to the shift for which you would like to volunteer.
